Ruud Hendriks and Patrick de Zeeuw met @ Endemol in 1995 where they worked together for many years and became very close friends. Ruud was the founder of no 1 TV station in The Netherlands RTL, Commercial Radio Station’s Sky Radio and Radio 10, President of CNBC Europe and a board member of the largest TV production company around the world Endemol. Patrick is an Ex Endemol MD, board member of Euromedia/United Broadcast Facilities, Founder of 3Circles Media and has a number of Advisory board positions at Startups in Europe and North America.

Patrick de Zeeuw

After setting up and turning around several Endemol companies in and outside of The Netherlands for 5 years, Patrick set up Endemol’s first internet venture at the end of the 90-ties. After Endemol was sold to Telefonica in 2001, Patrick became a shareholder and member of the Board of UBF International which in took over Dutch state owned NOB in 2004. In 2005 Patrick Co-founded TV & Internet gaming company 3Circles Media. 3Circles Media launched interactive TV game shows in over 15 countries around the world including USA, Canada, Malaysia, Spain, Belgium, China and Saudi Arabia. Within 3Circles Media Patrick also set up the first live multi player gaming section within Holland’s no 1 social network Hyves which grew to over 500.000 game plays per day within 4 weeks after its launch. From 2009 till 2011 Patrick has been advising gaming and online media companies around the world on strategic, operational and M&A level. In 2011 Patrick decided to set up a Startup Accelerator program in Amsterdam based on Techstars’ “Mentor driven model”. Patrick is a mentor at Startupbootcamp & IBMsmartcamp. He is also a ex-snowboard professional who used to travel the world chasing fresh powder (not so much lately…)

Patrick holds a masters degree in Organizational Sciences & Business Internationalization. He lives with his wife Edi and daughter Nikki on a boat in Amsterdam. He also has a 12 year old son who wants to become a DJ.

Ruud Hendriks

After a stint as an on air radio and tv personality amongst others Ruud Hendriks founded some of the most successful media companies in the Netherlands including tv stations such as RTL4 and RTL5, radio stations as Sky Radio and Radio 10. Ruud was CEO of NBC Europe for 2 years. After moving back from the UK to Holland Ruud was asked by Joop van den Ende and John de Mol to join Endemol Entertainment’s Executive board.  Within Endemol Ruud was responsible for its international expansion to almost 20 countries growing Endemol into the no. 1 independent TV production company around the world. He also ran Endemol’s interactive & online businesses. He served on the executive board for almost eights years and left the company a year after it was sold to Spanish telco Telefonica in 2001.

Since then Ruud has been involved as CEO, Supervisory board member and mentor in several financial and media related companies in and outside of the Netherlands. Ruud is married to Annemieke van der Mast and lives in Amsterdam.
